The Basic Education and Literacy Project of Owerri Newtown was implemented

The importance of adult education is difficult to overstate. There's no limit to acquiring education.... There are numerous reasons as an adult to go back to school, some of them are to increase their knowledge, develop new skills and also manage their health.....Last week 26th of september some Rotary Clubs in Owerri. (1). Owerri Aladima (2). Owerri Metropolitan (3). Owerri Sunrise (4). Owerri Newtown. Had a joint project on BASIC EDUCATION AND LITERACY. Tagged 'NOT TOO LATE FOR SCHOOL'           At National Union of transport workers head quater Owerri Imo State @ No.3 Nekede Road by Amawusa Doglas .     One of the speakers PAG Nwankwo Hector who spoke on Adult education, gave hope to workers and edmonish them on the need to have basic education at least school certificate that it will not only be helpful to them but it will improve their standard of living..... He also pointed out some schools that are offering evening programs both in primary, secondary and tertiary levels.
